Pre-treatment advice

• Be aware that injectable treatments can cause redness, bruising, and swelling.
• Notify us of any travel arrangements within four weeks of treatment.
• If you are feeling unwell, have cold sores, or are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, you cannot have any injectable treatments.
• Inform us of any medications or dietary supplements you take, as some may affect the treatment.
• Avoid painkillers containing Ibuprofen, alcohol, and certain vitamin supplements up to 7 days before treatment.
• Arrive at your appointment without makeup and avoid applying any for 24 hours after treatment to reduce the risk of infection or irritation.

Post-treatment advice

• Redness and bumps at the injection site are normal and should subside after an hour.
• Avoid pressure on the treatment area for at least 8 hours.
• Stay upright for at least 4 hours.
• Avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, or extreme temperatures for 24 hours.
• Bruising may occur a few days after treatment and can take up to 10 days to heal.
• Arnica may help clear bruising.
• Visible results typically appear 1-3 days after treatment, with complete results by day 14.
• A general 'heavy' feeling is expected in the first week as the muscles relax.
• An adjustment may be necessary after day 14 for first-time treatments.
